"Hello, World!" with wxPython

Just over 12 years ago, one could write a program that ran in a terminal and be reasonably confident that users would not be confused by the lack of a graphic user interface (GUI) -- that is, unless you were programming for an Apple. Most users today, however, have no concept of a command line. In this post Windows 95 world, a GUI is usually not optional but mandatory.
