- vast and/or distributed applications written in Python;
- scientific and computationally intensive applications;
- interaction with other languages/environments, RPC, services;
- web programming and web frameworks;
- desktop programming and GUI toolkits;
- Python as "scripting" language (system housekeeping, COM, etc...);
- Python and databases;
- Python as educational language;
Note also that you do not need to speak Italian to present a paper. The conference is using English as the international lingua franca, and the coordinators are trying to arrange real-time Italian-English translation for all sessions. In order to present a paper, however, you will need to brave a little Italian in the form of the submission form. Translation help can be found through Google.
