VirtualBox SDK Now Supports Python

By September 10, 2008

VirtualBox is a virtualisation suite put out by Sun Microsystems. Recently Sun released version 2.0 of the software. The press release does not mention it, but the change log lists support for Python in the Linux and Solaris versions of the software development kit (SDK). This makes administration of virtual machines that much easier. You can learn more about VirtualBox on its website, where you can also download it. The Python support is through the SDK which you can get on the download page. Note that VirtualBox is freely available under the GNU GPL version 2, but Sun provides commercial support for it under a separate pricing scheme.
